Fast-rising country star Annie Bosko today released her take on the perennial holiday classic, “Silent Night.”
Written by Austrian composer Franz Gruber in 1818, “Silent Night’ has become the world’s most-recorded holiday song, with more than 137,000 known versions. Bosko’s interpretation is a special one, featuring a sweet and sacred vocal performance atop a beautiful, intimate acoustic arrangement with strings. The track was produced by Jason Sellers and Keith Sewell.
2024 has been a year of high-profile collaborations for Bosko. In addition to her acclaimed solo music, she’s released duets with country heavyweights Dwight Yoakam and Joe Nichols. The Nichols collaboration, “Better Than You,” was a Top 5 Most Added Song at U.S. Country Radio (Mediabase) for five consecutive weeks, including one week before the song’s official impact date. The song continues to ascend the U.S. Country Radio charts.
